Since the early 1960s, a large part of German and European import and export by sea has been handled using standard containers for shipping goods.
That is why container shipping and container handling have been part of our regular business for decades.
Whatever you would like to ship, we can provide a suitable solution for you!
Full containers (FCL) and consolidated containers (LCL)
It is not always necessary to fill a complete container; with us your general cargo will also be in good hands.
We ship using all standard container models (ISO container 20 inch and 40 inch, increasingly also 45 inch, open top as well as bulk containers and many other models).
We, Johs. Stelten GmbH & Co. KG, offer you individual solutions and tailor-made service for the storage, shipping, and handling of your containers, both as FCL and as LCL shipments.
Container handling
Short distances, central locations with excellent transport links and daily departures to the ARA ports ensure the quickest possible shipment of your FCL / LCL shipments by sea.
This also applies, of course, to your sea freight shipments from the German sea ports Hamburg, Bremen and Bremerhaven, as well as Wilhelmshaven. Due to our proximity to the container terminals in Krefeld and Duisburg we handle a large part of our container pre- and post-transport cost-efficiently via barge.
